Exhibition celebrating life of Virginia Woolf to open

An exhibition celebrating the life, art and vision of Virginia Woolf is to open at the National Portrait Gallery in London.

The show will feature paintings and portraits of the author, who was a leading member of the Bloomsbury Group and one of the most significant writers of the 20th Century.

BBC London's Arts Correspondent Brenda Emmanus spoke to Frances Spalding, the curator of the exhibition.

Virginia Woolf: Art, Life and Vision opens at the National Portrait Gallery from 10 July.
