Poorer areas in London 'lack transport link access'

Londoners in poorer areas are being disadvantaged by a lack of public transport - and that makes it harder from them to get a job.

That is according to a new report from Labour members on the London Assembly.

It found those living in deprived areas find it hardest to access transport. But City Hall disagrees.

BBC London Transport Correspondent Tom Edwards spoke to Meriam Wilson from Residents' Association, Labour's London Assembly transport spokeswoman Val Shawcross and Mike Weston from Transport for London.
