Gun amnesty set to begin in London

Scotland Yard is to launch its first gun amnesty for six years.

From Monday people will be able to take firearms and ammunition to their local police station without the threat of prosecution for illegal possession - although each weapon will be forensically checked.

BBC London's Chris Rogers spoke to Chief Supt Dean Hayden and outreach worker Jason Featherstone, who has lost five friends in gun violence.
