Elephant and Castle transformation consultation starts

A public consultation has started into the transformation of the road junction at Elephant and Castle.

A future development could see the roundabout turned into a square and two-way traffic introduced to improve safety.

But the changes have been criticised for taking too long - leaving London lagging behind other global cities.

BBC London's transport correspondent Tom Edwards met Robin Wright of the Financial Times, Rosie Downes from the London Cycling Campaign and Andrew Gilligan, the Mayor of London's cycling commissioner.
