London design students create coat-tent for refugees

Students at the Royal College of Art have designed a coat for refugees which can also be turned into a sleeping bag and tent.

The Wearable Habitation coat is made of a thin, waterproof material called Tyvek, often used on aircraft, and lined with Mylar - a material used to provide extra insulation.

Waterproof pockets on the inside mean passports, wallets, photographs and any other valuables needing protection from the harsh environment can be protected.

BBC London's Caroline Davies spoke to students Anne Sophie Geay and Eve Hoffmann as well as senior tutor at the college, Harriet Harris.
