Vauxhall Station: Major travel disruption caused by trackside fire

A trackside fire at Vauxhall Station has caused major delays across London.

Clapham Junction station was temporarily evacuated and shut due to overcrowding as a knock-on effect of the fire and South West Trains urged passengers only to travel if "absolutely necessary".

The blaze broke out in signalling cables underneath one of the platforms at about 02:35 BST.
