World's largest uncut diamond expected to sell for £52m
The world's largest uncut diamond, which is almost the size of a tennis ball, is expected to be sold for more than £52m at auction.
The Lesedi la Rona diamond is 1,109 carats and was discovered by Lucara Diamond Corp's Karowe mine in Botswana.
The auction at Sotheby's in Mayfair, London, will be the first time a rough diamond of such a size has gone on public sale.
