Croydon tram derailment: Interim report published
The initial report has been released into the Croydon tram derailment that killed seven people.
The Rail Accident Investigation Branch (RAIB) said the tram, which was carrying about 60 passengers, was travelling at 43.5mph in a 12mph zone.
It added there was no evidence of any track defects, or obstructions on the track or any malfunction of the braking system.
