Fifteen kittens found in suitcase on Dagenham street
Fifteen kittens were found in a suitcase which had been dumped on a street in east London.
They were discovered by a veterinary nurse as she made her way to work in Dagenham.
Cats Protection's Hornchurch & District branch, where they are being looked after, said the kittens are thought to be from three or four separate litters.
The branch's welfare and homing officer Alison Gambles said they were "all alive and in fairly good condition" but six of them had eye infections.
She said owners had been lined up but the charity would look after the kittens until they were old enough to be homed.
