London Waterloo's £800m revamp 'well under way'

Major engineering works that will cause severe disruption at the UK's busiest rail station are "well under way", Network Rail said.

The £800m project started on 5 August and has closed 10 platforms at London Waterloo until 28 August.

Over the last week, platform extensions have already taken shape.
