Paralysed ambulance call handler walks for 'NHS heroes'
Sean Ash thought he may never walk again when he was diagnosed with a rare spinal condition in August.
To thank his colleagues and other staff in the NHS for their efforts during the coronavirus pandemic, the ambulance call handler from Bexley is attempting to walk a mile to raise funds for his employer.
The 39-year-old has already completed half a mile and has raised more than £6,000.
