London Underground: The family firm that creates Tube signs
Many of the iconic signs on the London Underground network are created by a family-run business based on the Isle of Wight.
AJ Wells & Sons Ltd is the oldest wood-burning stove manufacturer in England but they also make signs for the Tube and Paris Metro.
The company, which started in 1972 and currently has 10 family members employed there, has recently been making the signs which will be used on Crossrail.
