Trees in HS2 path felled despite Euston construction delays

The High Speed Rail Link construction is facing delays but that has not stopped several trees in its path from being destroyed.

Around the HS2 terminus area planned in Euston, a large tree has been removed, with one campaigner calling it an "act of environmental vandalism".

HS2 has said all works at the site are necessary as part of plans to deliver new high speed rail services into central London.
