London: The stories that got Londoners talking in 2023

As 2023 comes to an end, it's a good chance to look back on the stories that made headlines in London over the year.

From the controversial expansion of Ulez to the Coronation of King Charles III, there was never a dull moment.

But there were also some more positive stories to make Londoner smile, like the reintroduction of beavers into the capital's waterways and east London erupting in celebration as West Ham won their first major European football trophy in decades.
