London hospital uses VR physiotherapy to help trauma patients
Physiotherapists at St George's Hospital in Tooting, south London, are using virtual reality (VR) to help major trauma patients recover from their injuries.
Patients use VR to play games and fulfil tasks, which utilises movements that the physiotherapists say is beneficial to their rehabilitation. About 50 patients have trialled the process so far and the results are promising, the hospital says.
