Wells-next- the-Sea performs London 2012 Olympics poem

On the day that marks 50 days to the start of the London Games, people from the seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea, in north Norfolk, have expressed their enthusiasm for the event by performing Going For Gold, an ode to the Olympics.

Poet Trudy Howson said: "Going for Gold is an interactive poem that represents the views of a small, sea-faring community, about the 2012 London Olympics.

"Inspired by the feelings of those ordinary, yet extra-ordinary people - I feel that this poem, although representing a small, rather quirky community, is an essential part of the England that is hosting the Olympic Games."

The Torch Relay arrives in Norfolk on 4 July and will visit 12 locations over two days.
