Norwich Cathedral peregrine falcon lays first egg

A peregrine falcon has laid an egg on a special nest platform on Norwich Cathedral's spire.

It is expected to hatch in late April or early May and could be the first chick in a third successful brood for the city since 2011.

An expert from the Hawk and Owl Trust said the mother was healthy and could lay another three eggs.
