CCTV shows University of East Anglia cash machine raid

Dramatic footage has been released showing thieves stealing a cash machine before their vehicle was rammed and stopped by a police car.

The CCTV shows the masked gang tying a tow rope around a cash machine in the University of East Anglia, and pulling it free with the help of their 4x4.

The vehicle was forced off the road by a police car following the incident on 2 December.

Three men have been jailed for their part in the crime, and other thefts.
