Hemsby: Christmas trees help defend coast from erosion
Two hundred Christmas trees have been taken to the beach at Hemsby to help defend the coast from erosion.
Volunteers from the Save Hemsby Coastline group appealed for people to donate their trees to bolster sea defences.
The trees will be buried in groups, to build up the dunes.
The move comes just over two years after houses were lost in the village when it was hit by the biggest tidal surge since 1953.
