Aerial views: Great Yarmouth prepares for floods
People in the Norfolk seaside town of Great Yarmouth are filling sandbags in the hope of protecting their homes from a coastal surge due to hit the town at 21:00 on Friday.
Police officers, firefighters and soldiers will be visiting about 5,000 homes in the town directly at risk by flood waters and provide advice on the risks posed by the high waters expected to peak in the rivers Bure and Yare.
