World Book Day: Children go head to head with fictional characters

Children from a primary school in Norfolk have debated the merits of their chosen World Book Day characters.

The youngsters, from Bignold Primary School, in Norwich, all dressed up for the event and took part in discussions about the books that had inspired their outfits.

The event started in 1995 and is always celebrated in the UK on the first Thursday in March.
