Video shows flooding in The Broads village amid tidal surge warning

Pictures showed flooding in a village in the The Broads as the Environment Agency warned of a tidal surge.

Roads and car parks in Potter Heigham, Norfolk were submerged on Thursday evening while drains were overflowing.

Officers from the agency are currently monitoring for signs of "tide locking" on The Broads, in which a raised sea level prevents rivers from draining out to sea.

Tides in the area are expected to be high in the next few days.
