Kettering Hospital's 'model' cancer initiative praised

Kettering General Hospital's urology unit has been praised in a national report for the way it deals with patients who have been diagnosed with cancer.

Patients are given both diagnosis and prognosis in a results clinic where the staff have the time to try to make the experience less traumatic.

A national urology review team said the clinic was a national example of good practice.
