Carbon dating to reveal Rothwell church bones' secrets

Scientists from the University of Sheffield hope new carbon dating techniques will reveal more about the people buried in a medieval ossuary in Northamptonshire.

The 13th Century bone crypt, one of only two in the UK, at the Holy Trinity Church in Rothwell, near Kettering, is full of thousands of human bones belonging to about 1,500 individuals.
