Nene Park: Two stands now demolished at Rushden and Diamonds' former home

Two stands have now been demolished at Rushden and Diamonds' former Nene Park home.

The stadium, which was also briefly home to Kettering Town, has been empty since 2012.

Two stands at the Irthlingborough stadium, which had a capacity of 6,400 and was opened by Sir Bobby Robson, have now been razed to the ground.

It is not known what will happen to the site once cleared in three months' time.

Rushden and Diamonds folded in 2011 after entering administration.
