Minister praises specialist nurses in Nottingham

A new team of specialist nurses has helped reduce the number of cancelled operations at two Nottingham hospitals, according to health minister Anna Soubry.

There were just 200 procedures postponed this January at Nottingham's two main hospitals compared to 750 last January.

Some of the credit goes to a new team of advanced nurse practitioners, she said.
