A radio presenter who helped to break the singer-songwriter Jake Bugg says new music acts are pretending to be from Nottingham in order to gain music credibility.

He said the city was becoming increasingly recognised in the music industry as a hotbed of new artists, thanks to acts such as Bugg and Dog is Dead.
