Ex-Bilsthorpe miners set up museum in village
A group of ex-miners who have been collecting memorabilia for 17 years have finally put the items on public display.
The former workers from the Bilsthorpe mine began their collection soon after its closure was announced in 1997.
Trevor Goodman, chairman of Bilsthorpe Heritage, said the museum would preserve the village's mining history and teach people about what life was like at the mines.
