Cow researchers identify three distinct cow moo sounds
A research team from the University of Nottingham and Queen Mary University of London has identified three distinctly different cow moo sounds.
The first heard in this clip is a low frequency call made by cows to their calves in the first few weeks after birth.
The second is a high frequency call that cows make when separated from their young.
The third sound is made by calves when they want to start suckling milk.
