Drone used to inspect Nottinghamshire's Cromwell Weir
A charity which looks after English and Welsh waterways has used a drone to get a closer look at one of the fastest flowing weirs in the country.
With 18,000 gallons of water every second flowing through the Cromwell Weir in Nottinghamshire , engineers have previously carried out inspections from the bank using binoculars.
It is the first time a drone has been used to get a more detailed picture.
Footage will be used to find any damages or irregularities along the weir.
