Oxford shoppers urged not to give homeless money

Shoppers in Oxford are being urged to donate money to charity rather than give it to homeless people on the streets.

Oxford City Council, which has joined forces with The Big Issue, wants the funds for a medical centre for the homeless in the city.

Fund manager Lesley Dewhurst, said it was a better way to help people get their lives back together.
