Oxford drivers warned of six month-long roadworks

Motorists in Oxford are facing disruption as a £6m scheme to ease congestion begins.

At Kennington a new "hamburger" style roundabout with a carriageway through its centre is being built. The Hinksey Hill interchange on the A34 will also undergo development.

About 60,000 vehicles a day pass through the junctions. The roadworks, lasting six months, start on 9 June.
