Transformers director responds to Blenheim Palace 'Nazi HQ' criticism
Director Michael Bay has defended turning Winston Churchill's birthplace into a "Nazi HQ" for the next Transformers film.
He told BBC Oxford that the wartime prime minister is a "hero" in the upcoming fifth entry in the series.
But the Sun newspaper reported, external "fury" from veterans after huge Nazi flags were draped across Blenheim Palace earlier this week.
Mr Bay said: "When you see the movie you'll understand... I would do nothing to disrespect veterans."
