Family raises £70,000 for Motor Neurone Disease research

The family of a woman from Bicester who died from Motor Neurone Disease have now raised more than £70,000 to fund research into the condition.

Alie Tilley, who was 51, helped set up a research fund before her death in May.

Her friends and family went to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford to see how the money is being spent.

The aim is to fund a second full-year of research in the hope of saving lives.
