D-Day diary revisited after 70 years

The detailed diary of a soldier who fought during D-Day has been unearthed.

Sgt Henry Wright was 21 years old when he was sent to Normandy during World War Two, and he kept a daily log between June 1944 and May 1945.

His second cousin, Mervyn Powell, from Cumnor, recently discovered the diary and shared extracts with the BBC.
