Walks aim to boost trade at pubs in Shropshire
The Stables pub in Hopesgate, near Minsterley, is one of 12 in Shropshire involved in a new scheme to promote trade by encouraging visitors to explore the surrounding countryside.
The walking routes have been put together by the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Partnership.
Landlord Chris Molloy said he believed rural pubs and visitors would both benefit.
The walks, ranging from four to nine and half miles, have been targeted at casual walkers, rather than seasoned ramblers and are due to be launched before Easter.
