Brothers build WW1 Bristol Scout replica
Two brothers have built a replica of a World War One biplane flown by their grandfather after finding parts of the original in a shed.
David Bremner said parts of the Bristol Scout were brought back by his grandfather Fl Sub Lt "Bunnie" Bremner from the Eastern Mediterranean, where he served with the Royal Naval Air Service.
The project has taken Mr Bremner, his brother Rick and their friend Theo Wilford four years and several trips around the world to complete.
"Bunny" Bremner's son, 91-year-old Ian Bremner said he would have been extremely proud of what the three men had achieved.
Rick Bremner said the team had spent thousands of hours building the plane near Cleobury Mortimer in South Shropshire.
Mr Wilford said he had been interested in WW1 aircraft ever since reading Biggles books and was looking forward to the first flight, expected to take place in the spring.
