Apprentices in Bridgnorth are restoring a 60-year-old Lancia Aurelia
A team of eight Shropshire-based apprentices have been given the job of restoring a 60-year-old classic car.
The Lancia Aurelia will be stripped to its nuts and bolts and then rebuilt at Classic Motor Cars on the Stanmore Industrial Estate in Bridgnorth.
The car was imported from Italy in 1960 and bought at auction for £50,000 last year by David Barzilay, a non-executive director for the company.
The work is expected to take 14 months and will involve re-making body panels, rebuilding the engine, rewiring and repainting.
