Timelapse footage captures Attingham Park restoration
Timelapse video has captured the final preparations before a Grade I listed Georgian mansion opens its doors after a £1.4m conservation.
Attingham Park, near Shrewsbury, Shropshire, has undergone a three-year, "painstaking" project that has seen a new roof constructed over John Nash's 1807 original.
It is the first time in more than 200 years the roof has been water-tight and has allowed specialists to repair plasterwork and the original gilding inside.
Filmed by Richard Knisely-Marpole for owners the National Trust, the video captured the last stage of the work, before the mansion throws open its doors to the public on Saturday.
