Lucy from Ludlow and Elizabeth II born on same day
A great-grandmother from Ludlow, Shropshire, will celebrate her 90th birthday on the same day as the Queen.
Lucy Broome, who said she considered herself "a very lucky woman", also gave birth in the same years that Prince Charles and Princess Anne were born, 1948 and 1950.
The pensioner has not met the Queen, but attended a garden party at Buckingham Palace in 2006.
She said she admired the monarch's "remarkable life and service to the country" but felt she had enjoyed a better life because she "was free to come and go" as she pleased.
