Atlantic salmon get helping hand to clear Shropshire weir

Atlantic salmon racing upstream to lay their eggs have been giving help clearing one particularly difficult weir in Shropshire.

Low rainfall has made it problematic for the salmon trying to cross Mill Street weir in Ludlow, so the Environment Agency has created a temporary fish pass using sandbags.
