Clevedon pair train geese to follow and fly in formation

The work of Lloyd and Rose Buck from Clevedon, who train birds to fly in formation for films and TV, is to be highlighted at the Festival of Birds at the Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust at Slimbridge, Gloucestershire over the weekend.

Rose lives with the birds 24 hours a day for six weeks after they hatch, in order to train them to think she is their mother.

The couple's work has been featured in TV programmes such as the BBC's Springwatch, Countryfile and Sir David Attenborough's 60 Years in the Wild.
