Farm land on the Somerset Levels is damaged by flooding

On the Somerset Levels the flood water is going down and the pumps have been switched off.

After nearly three months under millions of tonnes of water dry land on the Levels is beginning to emerge.

However, as the land dries out what is also becoming clear is the extent of the damage to the soil.

The BBC's Clinton Rogers explores the extent of the damage on Michael Churches' farm on the Somerset levels and speaks to soil expert Stuart Fripp about the long term impact the floods may have on farming in the area.
