World War One soldier images projected onto Stonehenge
One million soldiers who trained on Salisbury Plain during World War One are being remembered in a new exhibition at Stonehenge.
Images of some of those who fought have been displayed on the prehistoric monument to mark the start of the Soldiers at Stonehenge exhibition.
About one million soldiers trained for war in the area, and trench warfare was developed nearby.
Items in the exhibition include machine gun bullets, original paintings and drawings, cap badges and historical photographs.
