Porpoise dies after becoming stranded on Somerset beach

A porpoise has died after becoming stranded on Berrow Beach in Somerset.

Experts trained in helping stranded animals were dispatched to try to save it.

However, the creature was found to be injured and was put down by a vet to prevent it suffering any further distress.
