Shepton Mallet prison opens doors to public

A disused prison has been opened to the public, as part of a consultation on its future.

HMP Shepton Mallet in Somerset was closed two years ago, along with seven others, as part of government spending cuts.

The site's new owners, City & Country Group, invited people to look around the prison building and share their views on what to do with it.
