Unicyclist Ed Pratt 5,000 miles into around the world trip

A man attempting to become the first person to unicycle around the world is more than 5,000 miles (8,046 kms) into his trip.

Ed Pratt, 20, from Curry Rivel near Taunton in Somerset, set off exactly a year ago on the 18,000-mile (29,000 km) challenge.

The world trip, in aid of the School In A Bag charity, has already taken him through Europe and the Middle East into Asia and he is is currently in Kyrgyzstan.
