Somerset volunteers sought to get elderly fit after Covid

Age UK Somerset is recruiting volunteers for a scheme to help older people regain their fitness and confidence after lockdown.

It matches local volunteers with older people who would like to walk and have some company on a regular basis.

The eight-week Active Befriending scheme is designed to help older people take those important first few steps outside.
