Book vending machine at Somerset school encouraging children to read
A new vending machine has been installed at a school near Glastonbury in Somerset - but instead of chocolate bars, it is full of brain food...books.
The machine was bought as a tool to encourage pupils at West Pennard Primary School to read.
Children will get to cash in a token for a book from the machine as a reward for reaching their reading target over a term.
