Double-decker bus carrying Hinkley C workers overturns

A double-decker bus carrying construction workers for the Hinkley Point C nuclear plant in Somerset overturned in a crash.

The incident also involved a motorcyclist and happened around 06:00 GMT on the A39 near Cannington after icy conditions overnight.

There were 70 people on the bus and 54 patients treated at the scene, but Avon and Somerset Police said there were no fatalities.
